1. Who is responsible
The party responsible for processing the data you leave on this site is Humahuaca Travel (Tatiana handles customer service), with a meeting point at the Humahuaca Bus Terminal, Office 5, Humahuaca, Jujuy, Argentina.
To exercise your rights over your data, contact us on WhatsApp +54 9 3887 41-1006.
2. What data we process and why
Only what you voluntarily enter in the booking assistant or in a WhatsApp message:
- Name, WhatsApp or phone number, whether you prefer to be contacted by WhatsApp or phone call, chosen tour (with time or option), desired date, number of passengers and comments (optional).
We use it only to arrange your tour and reply to you. We do not use it for advertising, nor do we sell it or hand it over to third parties.
3. How your data travels today
Today this site does not store your data on a server of its own: what you fill in is put together as a WhatsApp message on your device, and it is sent to Tatiana only when you tap the WhatsApp button. From that moment on, WhatsApp's (Meta's) policy applies to that conversation.
If in the future bookings saved on the site or online payments are added, we will update this policy and its date before activating them.
4. Cookies and storage
This site does not install its own cookies, does not use analytics tools or advertising pixels, and does not store information in your browser (the Google map, described below, is the only possible exception and it is Google's). The typefaces and animation libraries are served from the site itself.
5. Third-party services
- Hosting: the site is hosted by Datio (datio.com.ar) on Hostinger infrastructure. As on any web server, technical connection data (IP address, browser, date and time) is logged for security and operation purposes. The provider's servers may be outside Argentina.
- Google Maps: the “We meet in Humahuaca” section shows a Google Maps map (Humahuaca bus terminal). It only loads when you scroll close to that section; when it does, Google may receive your IP address and use its own cookies, according to its policy.
- WhatsApp (Meta): when you tap the WhatsApp buttons you leave the site for that app.
6. How long we keep it
Tatiana keeps the WhatsApp conversation for as long as needed to arrange and provide the service and to meet legal obligations. You can ask for your data to be deleted when it is no longer needed.
7. Your rights
You can request access to, correction, updating or deletion of your data. We will answer access requests within 10 calendar days and correction or deletion requests within 5 business days.
The data subject has the right to access their personal data free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown, as established in article 14, paragraph 3 of Argentine Law No. 25,326. The Agency for Access to Public Information, as the Control Body of Law No. 25,326, has the authority to handle complaints and claims filed by those whose rights are affected by non-compliance with the regulations in force on personal data protection.
8. Minors
If you book on behalf of a minor, a responsible adult must always do it.
9. Changes to this policy
If the way we process data changes, we will update this page and the date shown above.
