Tour from Humahuaca
Santa Ana tour from Humahuaca
A high-altitude trip leaving Humahuaca: the Abra del Zenta and Abra del Viento passes, a stop at 4,550 m above sea level and the viewpoint of the most iconic bends, all the way to Santa Ana. The recommended option sleeps there to see the sunrise and the cloud blanket.

What it's about
There are two ways to go to Santa Ana. The recommended option leaves Humahuaca at 12:00 noon and reaches Santa Ana at about 18:00. You spend the night in Santa Ana and, the next day, very early (at 6 in the morning), you climb to the viewpoint to see the sunrise and the cloud blanket. Then you go down to the Inca Trail, a route done only with local guides, and head back to Humahuaca.
Option 2 leaves at dawn, at 5:00 AM from Humahuaca. You see the first sunrise from the Abra del Zenta pass and reach Santa Ana at about 13:00, to walk the Inca Trail with local guides.
On both options the road passes the Abra del Zenta and Abra del Viento passes, a stop at 4,550 m above sea level and a viewpoint of the most iconic bends.
You travel in a 4x4 pickup licensed for 4 to 6 people at most. The recommended option costs $100.000 per person, or $400.000 if you prefer a private trip.
